TUITION POLICIES

Monthly Tuition Fee
Our studio operates on a year-round schedule of classes with tuition billed on the 1st of every month. A student’s monthly tuition is based on the number of classes they are taking per week. For example, if a student is taking 1 class per week, their recurring monthly tuition is $65. If a student is taking 2 classes per week, their recurring monthly tuition is $122. We have a multi-class discount so the more classes a student takes at Fringe, the lower the average price per class. 

The monthly tuition fee is based on the year, and it stays the same each month regardless of the number of weeks/classes in a month. For example, in the month of December, we are closed for 2 weeks for Winter Break, and tuition for that month is the same as every other month. Your first month at Fringe is the only month that is pro-rated; otherwise, we do not pro-rate, refund, or give discounts for any missed classes or scheduled studio closures. We provide a list of all of our scheduled studio closures on our website and we post this list in our studio. 

AutoPay Policy
To make the payment process as simple as possible, parents are required to enroll in AUTOPAY. Enrolling in autopay ensures a payment is never missed, and parents can login to their Parent Portal at any time to update their card on file. If a card is declined, an email is sent to the parent letting them know that their payment did not go through. It is then the responsibility of the parent to login to their account and update the card on file as soon as possible to avoid a late fee or call the studio for assistance. NOTE: The autopay feature is ONLY used to collect fees that are billed through DanceStudio-Pro. For other fees such as a student’s costume fee(s), parents are sent separate email invoices through SQUARE and are expected to pay these bills by following the prompts in the email. 

Registration Fee
A “new student” registration fee of $30/student or $50/family (2+ students) is due at the time of registration. The registration fee helps offset the administrative cost of setting up your student in our studio-class-management system and helps keep your monthly tuition costs lower. The new student registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. If a parent decides to drop their student from all of their classes at any point and then chooses to sign up for classes again at a later date, the parent is required to re-register and pay the FULL registration fee. 

Annual Membership Fee
An annual membership fee of $50/student or $80/family (2+ students) is billed on September 1. The annual membership fee covers costs including, but not limited to: insurance, music license fees and studio communication costs - all separate expenses from class tuition. The annual membership fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. 

Late Fees & Other Fees
A late fee of $25 is automatically added to all accounts owing tuition on the 8th of the month. A $25 fee is added to all bounced checks. On the 15th of the month services are suspended until tuition is paid in full.
